Whether you have read several or all twenty-nine blogs, celebrate your success. You likely found some topics that described things you are already doing and some you could not imagine even attempting. Other ideas were likely ‘just right,’ pushing you slightly out of your comfort zone, providing new opportunities to learn more about yourself and how to build your self-care skills. For the last blog in this series, I want to challenge you to develop you own self-care plan using this tool as a guide. It includes 7 simple steps and provides worksheets for each step. By committing your plan to paper, you will make your self-care a priority. You will also be prepared to tackle the obstacles to implementing your plan that inevitably will arise. Looking for one more new idea to add to you plan? Print and cut up these Self Care Tip icons (available in English, French, Arabic, Punjabi and Spanish). Put them in a jar and when you need inspiration pull one out and do what is on the card.
