How's YOUR Mental Health

The St. Louis Mental Health Board developed “How's YOUR Mental Health?”, a community-based cable show on STL TV (formerly CITY TV 10) to help St. Louis residents become better informed about mental health and substance abuse issues.

What's Up?

MHB and STL TV team up to open dialogue about real issues facing teens

A group of teens gathered recently, talking about what it’s like dealing with violence and disruptions at school while still maintaining their grades. Later they spoke about drinking and drugs – who’s doing it, when they started, what they have seen it do to friends.

What was different about this frank discussion was the TV cameras were rolling as they spoke. The group of 15 teenagers, representing a number of area schools, were part of an MHB-sponsored talk show for teens, “What’s Up?,” filmed at CITY TV 10, a cable channel available to St. Louis City residents.
